Doin' Our Own Thing!!

Class was energetic last night. The kids had tons of energy!! Spring is in the air! But this post is more about us adults and the bonding that happened because we were all able to accept things as they were.

We had a jam along with the egg shakers. None of the kids ended up joined our jammin' circle. The were all at the other end of the room playing together. They were looking at each other, smiling, laughing with each other, and touching each other. They were bonding on a deeper level than a jam along.

We allowed it to happen without trying to manage them to participate in the jam along. All of us adults were in our circle looking at each other, smiling, and laughing: bonding.

Did I mention that these are 2 year olds? So much for parallel play!!!

Great Grandma Came: Alone!!!

The most energetic great grandma I have ever seen brought 2 year old TWINS to class today because Mom had an appointment! She was dancing and playing with the rest of us!! I am sure she had a great time as did the girls. What a great way to spend time with your great grandchildren!!
