I am a warm and loving early childhood educator committed to helping each child and family develop their natural abilities in music and life according to their own learning style. I am from a family musicians who see music as essential to daily life. I have been working with families teaching Kindermusik for four and a half years and have been a member of a nationally known sacred music choir. My musical talent is combined with study in Early Childhood Development and Education at University of Michigan-Dearborn where I have also worked in the Child Development Center as a preschool teacher assistant. My study is complimented by 10 years of experience as a professional nanny, a teacher of Enrichment Programs, and international travel as a fashion model. Kindermusik By Tandy puts a song into the heart and a smile on the face of every child, family, and community. I believe that Kindermusik is a wonderful tool to help families rejoice in the beauty of life and who they are while learning the skills to prepare them for any performing art such as dance, playing an instrument, voice, or everyday life!

9-23-06 You know, I think that is really the best approach to my classes. Many parents come with great agendas: learning to share, socialize, follow directions, etc... I ahve been realizing that if we just have fun and play these "games", the rest will usually work itself out!
